Description
The Senior Administrative Officer (LBS-008) plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient administrative operations within our organization. This position demands a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Administrative Officer will be responsible for coordinating office activities, managing schedules, and supporting senior management in various capacities. This role also serves as a liaison between departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of administrative processes, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. In addition to managing schedules and documentation, the Senior Administrative Officer will oversee the implementation of office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed. The position requires a proactive individual who can anticipate the needs of the team and has a strong focus on problem-solving. As a vital component of our administrative team, the Senior Administrative Officer will contribute to a positive work environment and support the overall mission of the organization through effective management of resources and personnel.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate administrative functions to support senior management
Oversee the scheduling of appointments and meetings, ensuring efficient time management
Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed
Maintain organized office systems, including files and records for easy retrieval
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications
Support the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of office expenditures to ensure adherence to financial policies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a senior capacity
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £19.94
