Summary
The Best Connection are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UV Print Operator to join a production team at our client in Chorley.
We are looking for candidates who ideally have prior experience operating UV print machines, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate strong technical and teamwork abilities. This role requires someone who can maintain high quality standards under pressure while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain UV flatbed and/or roll-to-roll printers (e.g., Mimaki, Roland, etc.) Set up print jobs according to specifications using the jigs provided Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of UV printing equipment Inspect printed materials for quality assurance and identifying issues Prepare artwork files using computer software as needed, with basic file setup and RIP knowledge Coordinate with print department manager on production and sampling new jobs Follow health and safety protocols in the print room and rest of factory Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area Key Requirements: Previous experience operating UV print machines is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results Proficiency with computers and familiarity with RIP software Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong time management and multitasking skills Comfortable working under pressure and meeting production deadlines Desirable: Experience in a large-format or print production environment Knowledge of finishing processes (cutting, laminating, application) Shifts: Monday to Friday 0800-1630 Early finish on a Friday Overtime available If you think you are a suitable candidate then please apply with your CV and we will review it as soon as possible. - 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- 24hr Oncall Support
- Ongoing Assignment

- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
