Process Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a individual to join the Operations and Maintenance Team at the Leyland site as a Process
Operative. The vacancy is for a Job Share on a fixed term contract until 31st January 2027. The hours of work will be
approximately 19.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a 2-shift rotation, 10:15am-2:15pm, 2pm-6pm.
What you’ll be doing
The Process Operative will be responsible for the general process activities associated with the waste facility processing
operations, site wide cleaning and general site work related activities.
What you will bring
Whilst training and development opportunities are provided and encouraged for our roles, the following skills and knowledge are
desired:
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
* Good Self-organisational skills.
* Good verbal and written skills.
* Knowledge of the Waste Industry.
* Ability to demonstrate experience in:
1. Manufacturing and processing related environments
2. Industrial Cleaning

Who are we?
Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the
Lancashire Waste Contract.
Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual
(black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable
community waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
