Summary

The TMG is the construct to enable collaborative working between the Authority and the Selborne Contractor and day to day management of the training service. It provides a forum for decision making and the mechanism to agree change, tasks and service improvements.

The post holder will work as part of this team supporting delivery of the Selborne contract. Working opposite the Contractor’s and Navy Command’s accountants, they will manage the TMG financial management system including providing cost analysis of the Selborne contract costs to DDPT, providing assurance and advice on spend proposals within TMG and liaising with other TLBs and NC departments to ensure funding is available for Business Cases, In-year changes and Tasking Orders.

The post holder is responsible for agreeing changes to the Contractors Financial Model and ensuring the model is up to date and is reflected in the forecast and ABC figures held by NC Finance Team.

The post holder is responsible for providing HR support and advice to Civil Servants and their Line Managers.

The post holder will supervise the N1 workforce activity in the provision of personnel and logistical JPA support and personnel admin functionality to TMG.
