Summary


Main duties and responsibilities:
1. AKI/Renal On-call rota
2. Delivering the procedure list under the supervision of the procedures
consultant
3. Assisting with ward rounds and supervising junior doctors on the wards
4. Clinics as per middle grade rota
5. Ad-hoc patient reviews in C6
6. On-call GIM/Acute Medicine commitments
7. Attending and delivering department-organised teaching
Clinical areas:
C24/25/22, Renal Unit, C6, AMU, ED

Staffing:
The candidate will work in a team comprising of 10 Renal Physicians, 2 Matrons, 1
Nurse Consultant, 6 Specialist Nurses, 41 Ward Nurses, 4 Senior Clinical Fellows, 3
Medical/Clinical SpR’s and 18 Juniors.
