The Portfolio Pathway (PP) Fellow will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care under consultant supervision.
The primary clinical duties will include assessing and managing patients as well as responding to referrals from wards and the emergency department. They will participate in daily ward rounds, conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, and formulate management plans for patients.
The role will involve active engagement in multidisciplinary team meetings, responding to emergencies, and ensuring safe and effective patient handovers. The Fellow will be supported to meet the requirements of the SSG through structured educational sessions, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and supported secondments should these be required.
