Can be open to Job Share – 2 days safeguarding / 3 days compliance

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Training, Compliance and Assistant Safeguarding Officer to join our Student Experience team.
This is a key role in ensuring the College meets its statutory safeguarding duties, while delivering training and support to a range of stakeholders, including staff, students and external agencies.

As a Training, Compliance and Assistant Safeguarding Officer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering safeguarding and security related training, developing policies and procedures, maintaining accurate and confidential safeguarding records, and offering day-to-day support to the College’s safeguarding team.

Applicants should be safeguarding qualified to at least Level 3 and educated to GCSE level in English and Maths or equivalent. They should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in education, health, social care or a related safeguarding role, and be comfortable delivering training to both small and large groups, face-to-face and online. Successful candidates will be able to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and maintain accurate and up-to-date records. They should be proficient in IT, comfortable using a range of software, including Microsoft Office and safeguarding systems, and hold a full driving licence with access to a vehicle, as some travel across campuses and delivery sites will be required.
