About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Weekend Personal Assistant to support a bright, energetic 10-year-old boy with a passion for engines, racing, and outdoor fun. He is autistic and experiences anxiety around touch and sequencing but thrives with gentle, engaging guidance.
Initial visits will focus on building rapport close to home. Once a connection is established, outings such as parks or go-karting can be arranged.
Duties Include:
• Encouraging and participating in activities
• Exploring and nurturing his interests (especially mechanical and racing-related)
• Suggesting fun ideas
Requirements:
• PVG Scheme membership (essential under April 2025 legislation)
• Driver required (due to location)
• A fun, friendly, patient personality
• Some experience working with children or autism preferred
