We’re looking for a finance professional to join our team as a Commercial Finance Business Partner, supporting a portfolio of high-profile client contracts within ISS UK.
Job Description
This is a high-impact role where you'll act as a trusted advisor to both ISS and our clients, delivering real-time analysis, performance insight, and financial guidance to influence strategic decision-making.
As Finance Business Partner, you'll play a critical role in maximising value, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency, and mitigating risk.
Your ability to challenge thinking and bring clarity to complex commercial situations will directly support the delivery of our business objectives.
You’ll be responsible for the full end-to-end financial management of key client accounts, including ownership of reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and commercial governance.
With exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape contract performance, this role offers excellent visibility and a clear path for progression.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, promoting services and understanding evolving needs
- Provide financial insight and challenge to support decision-making and business improvements
- Ensure compliance with contracts, including accurate reporting, reconciliations, and change control
- Identify financial risks and support planning to close gaps, with timely forecasting and reporting
- Collaborate with Procurement and Account teams to align supplier agreements and manage negotiations
- Deliver clear financial analysis for month-end and year-end processes, supporting audits
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner and account leaders, driving continuous process improvement
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Qualified or Part Qualified (CA, CIMA, ACCA) with commercial finance experience in service contracts
- Strong client-facing background with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, professional, and adaptable, with a positive attitude toward change
- Confident working independently, with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively
- Highly numerate, accurate, and results-focused with strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer literacy, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial systems
- Strong commercial awareness of the client and ISS’s operating environment
