Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Tyne and Wear Learning Trust and the Headteacher are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their highly successful school, Whitburn Village Primary.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high quality teaching and learning by working closely with class teachers to plan, deliver and assess lessons. This role will initially focus on supporting Key Stage 2, leading small group interventions, providing cover for PPA time, and supporting children with a range of needs to help them reach their full potential.
