The Trustees and Headteacher are looking to appoint a new Daycare Childcare Officer to be part of a highly committed team within our new Daycare setting at Whitburn Village Primary School. The post is contracted andlsquo;term-time onlyandrsquo; and on a andlsquo;permanentandrsquo; basis.
Essential Criteria

Experience of working within a Day Care or similar Early Years setting

The ability to work flexibly between hours of 8am and 6pm
We wish to appoint a new member of staff who is committed to providing high quality childcare to our local community within a purpose-built daycare nursery. The post holder will work as part of a team to provide high quality care and learning experiences for children to develop within the nursery and work in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community.
This is an exciting and challenging role that requires the post holder to possess a high standard of understanding the changing environment of childcare provision and ability to implement and support outstanding practice. The successful applicant will have a full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification. The full title and Awarding Body of your qualification certificate must meet with the DfE Guidance to allow you to work in an Early Years setting.
Whitburn Village Primary School safeguards and protects its pupils and staff. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
