Contract: Full time (Monday - Friday)
Rate: £16-18 per hour
Remedy Education are looking for a leading Admin Assistant to work at one of our leading secondary schools in Newham, East London. The successful admin assistant will be supporting a network of education professionals whilst delivering excellent administrative skills. This role will require you to demonstrate organisational skills, good oral and written communication skills, and flexibility.
Senior Administrative Officer Job summary:
- Assisting with the running of reception.
- Assisting with data, health & safety, pupil movement reporting, maintenance of managing school website.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of educational materials, reports, and correspondence. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the efficient operation of administrative processes and procedures.
- The post holder will at all times carry out the duties and responsibilities with due regard to the School Policies and ensure the aspects of the post are performed in an efficient and effective manner.
- Must be willing to complete an enhanced DBS. School Receptionist and Admin Assistant requirements:
- A 2:1 degree or above.
- Applicants will have first-rate IT skills in all MS Office applications.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Senior Administrative Officer Requirements:
- MUST HAVE previous school administration experience.
- MUST HAVE SIMS experience.
- Experience of supervising an administrative function is preferred.
- Highly organised, strong written and communication skills.
- Well dedicated, resilient, and enthusiastic given the alternate provision environment.
