Salary: Haringey Support Staff Salary Scale P08 (£61,980 to £65,476)

Working Pattern: Full Time/52 Weeks(we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements/Job Share)

Responsible For: Finance, Facilities, HR, IT Network, Catering, Data, Administration, Student Welfare and Communication & Marketing.

Embark on a rewarding career at Highgate Wood School, where you will provide support and leadership in all areas of the operational functions as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Within this role you will lead on the maintenance and development of the budget as well as the financial procedures and systems of the school, to ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives.

You will also be responsible for providing strategic financial information to the Headteacher and Governing Body, with the expectation that you facilitate the school’s readiness to meet Ofsted and the School’s Financial Value Standards (SFVS) criteria.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Management or Accountancy
• Have at least 2 years' leadership experience in financial and/or business management
• Have the ability to communicate with a range of audiences including colleagues, governors and suppliers
• Be able to adapt and be flexible in working practices and the ability to know when to use initiative
• Have a high degree of professionalism in your approach to work and tasks set
• Have an ability to be a good role model for students and colleagues
