Our client, an innovative and expanding care provider, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Care Home Manager (Commissioning) to lead the commissioning of new luxury care homes. This role offers the opportunity to bring new services to life – from full operational readiness, compliance to successful market entry.

What We’re Looking For:
- Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or a valid nursing PIN (RGN/RMN)
- Proven experience commissioning new care home services within elderly care
- Strong background in operational management across multiple care settings
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, CQC standards, and best practices in adult social care
- Confident in business development, community engagement, and occupancy growth
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regions

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commissioning of new care home services from pre-opening to full operation
- Ensure all new homes are CQC compliant, well-staffed, and ready to deliver outstanding care
- Oversee the initial marketing and bed-fill strategy, ensuring strong occupancy levels from launch
- Develop and nurture relationships with local stakeholders, community groups, and external agencies
- Build and support high-performing home teams, ensuring excellent standards from day one
- Manage budgets, staffing plans, and operational processes with financial acumen
- Drive service quality in line with regulatory standards and person-centred care values
