Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic After School and Breakfast Club Assistant to join our committed team at King’s Gate Primary School. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, creating a fun and engaging environment and ensuring the well-being of pupils outside of school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in a range of activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Assist with serving breakfast and after-school snacks.
Support children in their play, homework and social interactions.
Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the welfare of all children.
Help set up and tidy the club space before and after sessions.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality wraparound care.
Person Specification:

Passionate about working with children and creating a nurturing environment.
Reliable, friendly, and able to work as part of a team.
Experience in childcare or education is desirable but not essential.
First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training).
A positive attitude and the ability to use initiative.
