The Role
As an IT Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting IT operations. Your responsibilities will ensure that IT systems and equipment function efficiently, providing a seamless experience for users across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and verify new IT equipment upon arrival.
- Configure and install new hardware and software as required.
- Replenish IT consumables across various UKME locations.
- Maintain stock levels of IT consumables to ensure availability.
- Set up mobile phones and peripheral devices for users.
- Provide first-line support by working on the IT Service Desk when needed.
- Deliver and set up IT equipment at different sites as required.
- Represent the IT & Communications Department on client sites.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a professional with:
- Working knowledge of basic IT principles (Essential).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office solutions (Essential).
- Understanding of computer hardware (Essential).
- Ability to research hardware and software issues (Essential).
- Ability to present solutions in user-friendly language (Essential).
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision (Essential).
