Summary
You will provide direct support to the TLS Higher Executive Officer Equipment Manager for all aspects of Equipment Management, including MoD Disposals and data cleansing using the current Fleet Management tool JAMES and other Management Information System (MIS) tools. To cover the Equipment Management function against Eqpt Portfolios as required.
Key responsibilities:
To provide Equipment Management support as directed by the Higher Executive Officer TLS Equipment Manager.
Provide Equipment Management support for all MOD vehicles & associated eqpt for disposal.
Processing the JAMES Equipment Sentencing Decision Referrals (ESDRs) in conjunction with the FdArmy HQ TLS desk officers and the DE&S Project Teams, updating the ESDRs, informing the Front-Line Commands of the decisions and the actions to take in accordance with JAMES Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) 39.
Monitoring and progressing ESDRs through to final completion.
To provide Equipment Management support of all Static Training Aids (STAs), approvals / rejections & recording on the STA register in accordance with ACSO 4532.
Updating JAMES in accordance with JAMES SOP 39.
To conduct data integrity checks, identify and report improvements on JAMES in conjunction with TLS desk officers, DE&S desk officers and the JAMES Team Warminster.
Removing erroneous data entries as required.
To attend stakeholder meetings as required.
To provide Equipment Management information and advice to all key stakeholders.
To provide Equipment Management support to D TLS Equipment Managers as required.
On the job training for the MIS systems will be given.
Adopt a customer focused approach, implementing the Disposal Activity process.
