Summary
We are seeking an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer in Liverpool to support our social housing client on an ongoing, temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months. This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week on a hybrid basis with temp to perm potential.
Your new role
- Investigating and resolving cases of ASB, nuisance and other tenancy breaches across your patch
- Investigate reports of hate crime, domestic violence and other issues impacting the community
- Instigate all court action, preparing all pre-court paperwork and applications including affidavits, full injunctions and possession proceedings, and self-representing in court
- Visiting victims, perpetrators and witnesses to ensure evidence is collected including witness statements to aid with the preparation of legal cases
- Responding to complaints and enquiries from local MPs
- Representing the group at liaison meetings including joint action meetings
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of working within a tenancy enforcement role within housing and a good knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy/housing management including ASB, crime and disorder
- Experience and familiarity with taking witness statements, legal paperwork, liaising with legal experts and legal processes where representation is required
- Aware of best practice in safeguarding adults and children
- Effective stakeholder management
- Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
