Summary

Inclusive Learning Mentor

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Inclusive Learning Mentor provides a broad variety of holistic support to individual High Needs and SEND learners, to enable them to meet their aspirations. They provide IAG at all stages of the process to agree realistic targets, provide academic support and work with the learner to break down barriers to learning, monitor progress towards targets, liaise regularly with tutors and provide guidance to achieve.

As an Inclusive Learning Mentor, you will also provide support to learners with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, run small group workshops for students in study skills, planning and organising of work and provide support with personal, social and emotional issues which may affect progress.
