Summary
A vacancy exists for a Senior Information Governance Officer to work within the Corporate Information Governance Team. This is a temporary post until 31st March 2026.
The post will play a key role in coordinating the Councils response to the National Covid-19 inquiry by liaising with services across the Council to identify, retain and preserve documents for the inquiry along with supporting the team to ensure the Council's compliance with the required standards for information governance.
It is essential that the applicant can demonstrate that they are competent in all aspects of communication, have good data analytic skills, have a strong customer focus, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Team working skills are also essential for this role.
