Summary

We are seeking to recruit additional EHC Caseworkers to join a new and developing EHC Assessment and Review Team. The role is complex, fast paced, varied, and rewarding. The role if outward facing working directly with parents, Carers and Professionals to coproduce Education Health Care plans, undertake work around updating of plans following annual review as well as extensive case working in seeking and supporting school placements. The Team works in line with all the requirements as set out in the SEND Code of practice.

Due to the range of duties and expectations around timeliness the EHC Assessment and Review Team has to work very much as a team.

The case officer role is a hybrid role based both from office with some home working as well as undertaking meetings in nurseries, schools, colleges, and alternative provisions.
Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
