Based at Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Compliance Officer to contribute to the Council’s high quality planning service provision and be involved in a varied and interesting workload.

We are looking to recruit an appropriately qualified compliance officer who will be responsible for investigating and resolving identified breaches in planning control, monitoring major applications and processing a range of planning applications and undertaking other related development management activities.

You must have a Degree in Planning or equivalent discipline and have membership of/or be eligible to have membership of RTPI. Knowledge of planning legislation and development management regulations is essential as is effective communication, I.T, customer care and time management skills.

A full, current driving licence is also desirable.

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 24 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
