Remedy Education is currently working in partnership with a supportive and well-resourced secondary SEN school in Lewisham. We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Support Assistant to join their passionate team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting students with complex needs and empowering them to reach their full potential.
You will be working with secondary-aged students who have a range of special educational needs including:

Physical disabilities (some students are wheelchair users)

Personal care needs (training provided if needed)

You will be expected to:

Provide 1:1 or small group support

Assist with personal care tasks in a respectful and dignified manner

Support students in accessing the curriculum, both in and out of the classroom

Help implement EHCP targets under the guidance of the SENCO and class teacher

Previous experience working in a SEN setting or with children/young people with additional needs
