Location: Lewisham, South East London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Salary: £95 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary SEN School in Lewisham, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
You will work alongside a skilled team of teachers and therapists to provide vital support to students aged 11-19, helping them access education and develop essential life skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with PMLD

Assisting with personal care, feeding, and mobility (manual handling training desirable)

Supporting students with communication and sensory needs

Implementing EHCP targets and tailored learning activities

Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
