If you join us, you can choose to work lots of hours and earn lots of money, or pick up a few shifts at times that suit you. You can do plenty of hours one week and none the next. It's up to you. Pay Rates
Mon to Sunday Day - £12.30/hr
Monday to Sunday night - £12.50/hr (Not always available).
Roles and Responsibilities:
• It is domiciliary care, so the carer will need to be a driver and be able to drive themselves around.
• We will NOT accept another person driving the candidate around due to data protection and GDPR.
• Carers will need to go to the council offices to pick up a “rota”.
• There will be a list of names and addresses they are expected to go into to help elderly residents in their own homes.
• The morning shift is 07.00-14.30 with a 30-minute unpaid break between their morning and lunch calls.
• The afternoon is 16.00-22.30 with a 30-minute unpaid break between their tea and bed calls.
• Mileage can be claimed from the first house to the last house, but not to and from the carer's house (Mileage expense is 0.30P/mile).
Essential and Mandatory Requirements:
• Full CV (No gaps)
• DBS enhanced and on updated service
• Eligibility to work
• NI Proof
• Need to have your car and a valid and full UK Driving Licence.
• At least 6 months of experience working in the UK as an HCA/Support/Doms worker.
• Police Check (Foreign Candidates)
• Passport/Visa/BRP
• 2 Proof of Address
• 2 references, at least 3 years of covering history
• Training certificates (Theory and Practical)
NOTE: Candidate must be in the UK only if applying for the position; they should either be on (PSW/Student Visa/ILR/British Citizen/Dependent/EU Settlement). Please do not apply if you are on a Tier 2 or Sponsorship visa.
