Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications) + sleep-in allowance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rota basis (including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins)

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in a warm, nurturing children’s home supporting young people aged 10-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
In this key role, you’ll help lead a team of support workers, acting as a role model and providing guidance, consistency, and care that truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
• Assist the management team with day-to-day operations of the home
• Lead and mentor support workers during shifts
• Help implement individual care plans and risk assessments
• Support with rota planning, shift leading, and staff supervision
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards
• Promote a safe, stable, and therapeutic environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent – essential)
• Working towards or willingness to complete Level 4 in Leadership and Management (preferred)
• Confident in leading a team and working under pressure
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed care
• Full UK driving licence or working towards it
