Summary

As a midwife working with women and families with socially complex/ safeguarding needs this role is to support the / Safeguarding Team and Socially Complex Leads to: Provide high quality, evidence-based care and advice to women and families. Work in partnership with other health care professionals and liaise with other agencies involved in the provisions of maternity services and seek advice from the Safeguarding and Socially Complex Lead Midwives as required. Recognise that the vulnerability factors can be interrelated and that parental factors increase vulnerability to child abuse and neglect.
