Summary
Communication & relationship building: Require excellent interpersonal skills, to ensure accurate and effective verbal, written and electronic communication with a wide range of healthcare staff both inside and outside of the Trust as well as patients and their carers/families. Responsibilities for analysis: Use high levels of analytical and judgement skills in this role. Responsibilities for planning & organisation of activities: Require excellent organisation and administrative skills. Responsibility for patient/client care: Be required to put the patient, as the first priority, at the centre of all activities. Development of policies & services: Participate in policy and service development. Financial responsibility: Ensure theefficient and effective use of all resources used within the course of ones own duties, maintaining an awareness of the financial impact of inappropriate use. Managing people: Be responsible for his/her actions and workload and be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibility for information resources: Use daily, IT programmes (i.e., CRIS, PACS, Cerner, etc) relevant to the work area including medical records systems. Research & development: Comply with Trusts requirements and undertake administrative processes for evidence-based research and development, and surveys as indicated by clinical director for imaging or imaging leadership and management team. Freedom of act: Work within Trust policies and standard operating procedures.
