About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient SEN Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) secondary school based in Greenwich. This is a rewarding full-time role supporting students aged 11-19 who have a range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, sensory impairments, autism, and medical needs.
As a key member of the classroom team, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored learning and personal care support, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly PMLD or complex needs

Knowledge of communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC is highly desirable
