Summary

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Operations Surveyor in the Empty Homes Team.

About the role

As an Empty Homes Surveyor you are responsible for assessing all incoming Empty homes and ensuring all necessary work to bring the property back up to our Karbon Homes Lettable Standard is logged ready for our trade staff. You will also conduct pre termination surveys to ensure properties are left in a good state of repair prior to keys being returned.

Additionally, your support to the Operational manager will be essential in coordinating and executing maintenance projects efficiently. About you

The Operations Surveyor will be responsible for undertaking Empty Homes Surveys.

You will need to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, identifying repair requirements, preparing reports and schedules of work, reporting and logging repairs, ordering materials etc.

You will need a good understanding of building practices, health and safety requirements to best capture work required and return a property to a good standard.

About our team

The successful candidate will work in our Empty Homes Team and be based across the Karbon footprint, which covers the North East however this is primarily based around Byker and surrounding areas.   • Operations Surveyor – permanent role.
  • Salary is £38,520 per annum. (pending pay review)
  • Car payment of £2,260 per annum.
  • £618 flexible pot (which can be used for salary top-up or to purchase a range of benefits).
  • Location: Byker
  • 37 Hours per week.
