Are you a passionate and experienced Adult Social Worker looking for your next locum role? 3D Recruit is proud to be working in partnership with Bromley Council, who are seeking a talented and ambitious Registered Social Worker to join their dynamic Locality Team.
Role Overview:
As a Social Worker within the Locality Team, you will undertake care management and safeguarding responsibilities in line with statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation. You will be supporting adults with care and support needs, conducting assessments, and ensuring high-quality outcomes that promote independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out statutory assessments, care planning, and reviews.
Undertake Section 42 Enquiries, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Best Interest Decisions.
Maintain accurate and timely records using electronic systems.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
Provide supervision/support to less experienced staff as needed.
Participate in duty rota and respond effectively to urgent situations.
Requirements:
Social Work Degree or equivalent and Social Work England (SWE) registration.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in adult social care.
Strong understanding of the Care Act, MCA, DoLS, and safeguarding frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and report writing skills.
Ability to travel efficiently within and outside the borough for visits and reviews.
