The Role

We are seeking to appoint multiple Transformation Business Partners to support the Council’s Transformation Programme.

This role is pivotal to the council's strategic goals of improving service delivery and efficiency through innovative transformation projects.

About You

The post holder will partner with leaders and services to understand their strategic goals and translate these into actionable change programmes. Whilst influencing, shaping and driving opportunities for improvement and alignment with other change programmes and organisational priorities.

Additionally, it involves supporting the council in tracking value and return on investment across the assigned service departments.

Key activities will include:

  1. Strategic Change Programme Planning and Implementation - Develop and execute change programmes, ensuring alignment with other change programmes and organisational priorities.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement and Support - Act as a primary liaison between all those involved to ensure alignment, effective joint working and successful implementation of changes.
  3. Change Management - Guide and support leaders, services, stakeholders and the workforce through the change, providing support and resources to manage transitions effectively.
  4. Performance Management, Monitoring and Reporting - Track and progress project / implementation and benefits realisation plans providing regular updates to senior management and adjusting strategies as needed.
  5. Training and Development - Organise and deliver training sessions and workshops to upskill department staff in change management and continuous improvement practices.
  6. Policy and Compliance Oversight - Ensure that change programmes align and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and council policies.
