The Role:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a prestigious project in London. You will play a key role in managing costs, contracts, and commercial performance from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all commercial aspects of the project life cycle
- Prepare, submit, and agree valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Work closely with the site team to monitor progress and costs
- Procure subcontractor packages and manage supplier relationships
- Monitor project cash flow and profitability
- Ensure contractual compliance and mitigate risks
- Provide accurate cost reporting to senior management
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor
- Proven track record on medium to large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
