Vacancy – Accounts Assistant

We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our client on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will predominately be in the accounts team.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Match signed delivery notes to purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Capture supplier invoices onto accounting system
• Capture the daily bank transactions for Purchase Ledger
• Manage Prepaid Invoices/Proforma Invoice process
• Manage Goods Received Not Invoiced process
• Maintain over deliveries schedule
• Dealing with supplier queries via email and telephone; resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
• Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
• Payment of weekly Proformas and ad hoc suppliers
• Complete monthly statement reconciliations for all suppliers.
• Submit and pay monthly supplier payment runs with full supplier reconciliations packs
• Managing employee travel bookings/arrangements

Experience:
• Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
