Summary
Require to travel between clients with own car. Must have Full UK driving license. Female only (due to gender specific needs)
Our Home Care carers provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their well-being, safety, and independence. An empathetic mindset is essential for all carers to truly understand and connect with the clients they support. Tasks can include:
Personal Care
o Assisting with washing, bathing, and showering
o Helping with dressing and undressing
o Supporting with toileting and continence care
o Assisting with oral hygiene and grooming (e.g., shaving, hair care)
o Providing support with mobility, including hoisting and repositioning
Medication Support
o Administering prescribed medications
o Assisting with prompting and reminding clients to take medication
o Recording medication administration
Nutrition & Hydration
o Preparing and serving meals
o Encouraging adequate fluid intake
o Assisting with feeding if needed
o Monitoring dietary requirements and preferences
Household Support
o Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, tidying)
o Changing bed linens
o Grocery shopping and running errands (Planned in advance)
o Assisting with paying bills or organising appointments
Companionship & Emotional Support
o Providing conversation and social engagement
o Accompanying to social events, appointments, or activities
o Supporting emotional well-being and reducing loneliness
Health & Well-being Monitoring
o Observing changes in health and reporting concerns
o Supporting with rehabilitation exercises (if directed by professionals)
o Preventing falls and ensuring a safe environment
Specialist Care
o Catheter or stoma care
o Dementia care and managing distress behaviour
o Palliative and end-of-life care (only for the existing service users at their own home)
