Summary

To support subject matter experts in the planning, implementation and monitoring of educational programmes and competencies. To provide approved training programmes using the latest research, developing resources and presentations. For those programmes they are responsible for, continually evaluate them using feedback to further developmental opportunities. To contribute to the quality control aspects of all pre-professional training provision within the Trust, i.e. ensuring that the standard of student learning journals are maintained and that support of learners is provided. To gain accreditation with relevant training institutes to ensure quality standards are evident in internal training programmes. To take part in sharing good practice days for multi-professional staff, raising awareness of development opportunities both internally and externally including careers fairs. To support the on-going Trust programmes, including the Health and Care Academy and the Health and Care Academy Plus for pre-professionals. Being flexible, to work with learners out of hours or when required, work as part of the team in a clinical area, i.e. when the hospital is in escalation.
