We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Lecturer to join our Care, Childcare, and Counselling Department for a college in the Bedford area. This is a rewarding opportunity to influence the next generation of professionals by delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring, and support across a range of courses and levels.
As a Lecturer, you'll play a vital role in supporting student success through:
- Planning, delivering, assessing, and verifying teaching across Early Years and/or Primary Education subjects.
- Providing expert guidance and pastoral support to help students achieve their goals.
- Creating inclusive, engaging, and high-quality learning experiences.
- Actively contributing to curriculum development and the Centre's continuous improvement.
- Supporting promotional and outreach activities to enhance programme visibility and student recruitment.
We welcome applications from experienced educators and sector professionals ready to transition into teaching. You will need:
- A Level 4 qualification or higher in Early Years or Primary Education-related studies.
- Industry experience within the Early Years or Primary Education sector.
- A Certificate in Education (or a willingness to work towards one).
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grade A-C (or equivalent) - or a willingness to achieve Level 2 within one year.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine commitment to inclusion, diversity, and student achievement.
