About the Role
Are you a great communicator with a sharp eye for detail? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for a Personal Claims Handler to join our friendly and dynamic team. In this role, you’ll manage warranty claims for furniture and electrical products, ensuring a smooth and fair process for our customers from start to finish.
You’ll assess claims, coordinate repairs or replacements, and make sure every customer receives the care and attention they deserve. You’ll also play a key role in identifying fraudulent activity and improving our processes.
What You will Be Doing
* Delivering a seamless claims journey with expert knowledge of our warranty products.
* Handling inbound and outbound calls, and responding to customer queries via phone and email.
* Managing your own caseload of claims, from assessment to resolution.
* Coordinating post-claim services such as technician visits or product replacements.
* Maintaining accurate records in our internal systems.
* Collaborating with your team and supporting supervisors when needed.
* Suggesting improvements to enhance the customer experience and team efficiency.
What We are Looking For
Technical Skills:
* Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry tools.
* Familiarity with call centre or claims handling systems is a plus but not essential as full training will be provided.
Soft Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* A strong customer-first mindset.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Analytical thinking and sound decision-making.
* Adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Core Competencies:
* Resilient and empathetic with a positive, can-do attitude.
* A team player who’s also self-motivated and well-organised.
* Logical, honest, and patient with a problem-solving mindset.
