Summary
Work Pattern
Your contracted hours each week throughout your apprenticeship will be 39 hours Monday - Friday.
Location
This role is based at Ansty Park, Coventry and across at CVD Holbrook Lane. It is recommended that you live within a commutable distance of these locations.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse operations: Support with stock control and maintaining an organised warehouse.
Shipping and logistics: Assist with import, export, and shipping processes.
Purchasing support: Help with placing orders and managing supplier records.
Production planning: Learn how to schedule and plan production effectively.
Supplier management: Support relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Project support: Assist in the coordination and delivery of supply chain projects.
Lean manufacturing: Gain an understanding of continuous improvement and efficiency methods.

Training
Alongside your day role, you will work to complete your apprenticeship with your external training provider, Aston University. This will give you the knowledge, training and external approval to do your job effectively.

Qualifications required
Qualifications
3 x GCSEs (or equivalent), with grades A*-C / 9-4 in Maths and English.
3 x A Levels at CCC or above, or equivalent BTECs.

Not already hold a similar qualification to this programme.
Be at least 18 years old when the apprenticeship begins.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have been a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least the past three years prior to starting the apprenticeship.
Have completed full-time education before the apprenticeship is due to start.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with supply chain management software is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks.
Eager to learn and develop new skills in supply chain management.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Passionate about contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations.

What does the future look like?
Upon successful completion of the programme — and subject to performance — you may have the opportunity to move into a permanent role within the team or business area where you completed your apprenticeship.
