Location: Kent


Contract Type: Permanent | Salary: £49,522 and £57,712 (negotiable) Additional benefits: Pension scheme, 30 days holiday per annum, on-site parking.

In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of SEND Case Officers and work closely with schools, settings, and partner agencies to support and champion the SEND and Inclusion agenda across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Council's team of SEND Officers.
- Collaborate with schools, support services, and families to improve SEND provision.
- Work in partnership with school clusters and individual schools, supporting Headteachers, SENDCOs, and teaching staff.
- Contribute to the strategic development of SEND services across Kent.
- Deliver training and share best practices to build capacity in schools.

About You:
- Has in-depth knowledge of SEND legislation, policy, and best practice.
- Understands child development and the needs of children and young people with SEND.
- Is committed to delivering high-quality services and achieving positive outcomes.
- Has excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Is passionate about inclusion and collaborative working.
