We are looking for a Teacher Development and Quality Coordinator to join our team and work closely with both the Quality Manager and the Teacher Development Manager. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to support quality across the college and support professional development initiatives for our dedicated teaching staff.
About the Role
As the Teacher Development and Quality Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating teaching and learning processes, supporting quality assurance and improvement initiatives, and ensuring continuous professional development of teaching staff. You will help to improve the student experience and outcomes through your insights, analysis, and coordination of important data and feedback.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Quality Manager with the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and quality improvement processes across all areas of teaching and learning.
• Coordinate teaching and learning activities, including curriculum development, lesson observations, and feedback processes.
• Work closely with the Teacher Development Manager to support professional development programs, ensuring alignment with the college’s quality standards and strategic goals.
• Analyse and interpret data from student surveys to identify areas for improvement.
• Produce and present detailed reports on teaching quality and student satisfaction for Governors and senior leadership, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
What we are Looking For
• Experience in a quality assurance or teacher development role within the Further Education sector.
• Strong understanding of teaching and learning processes, quality frameworks, and professional development needs.
• Proficient in data analysis and able to use student feedback, surveys, and performance metrics to inform improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff and governors.
• Highly organised, with an ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and produce comprehensive reports.
Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent.
Essential Experience:
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years in a senior administration role, preferably within an education setting
• Experience of Microsoft packages including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and other relevant software
• Experience of Ofsted inspections
• Experience of undertaking analysis of data and preparing report.
• Experience of quality assurance and quality improvement processes
