Summary

Building Design Services are Hull City Councils Construction Consultancy Department providing a comprehensive range of construction services covering Operational, Commercial and Housing portfolios and include architecture, quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering and landscape architecture.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, professional, and motivated individual to join our Quantity Surveying & Project Management Team.
Reporting to the Associate Professional Lead (QS/PM) your duties will include client liaison, quantity surveying duties for all stages of projects from inception to completion, cost estimating, project programming, contract administration, production of procurement documents, management of procurement processes, assessment and certification of interim certificates, providing procurement/contract support, contract administration under NEC 4 suite of contracts & input into the project processes/systems.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

Excellent NEC 3 and/or NEC 4 experience and knowledge.
Knowledge of the Public Contract Regulations & Procurement Act 2023.
Excellent communication skills.
Membership of the RICS or APM or be working towards obtaining membership.
Extensive Quantity Surveying and Project Management experience.
