Job Purpose: To support the delivery of a flexible, person-centred employability
service for clients which provides pathways into fair and sustainable work to meet
emerging local labour market priorities and to tackle in-work poverty.
To support the delivery of a quality employability offer which ensures clients receive the services they need and a particular focus on work-based learning opportunities to support their positive progression towards and in work.
The provision of these work placements will be across the Council and partner
organisations requiring the postholder to engage with a number of different Council Services and partners as they support clients with their work placement.

Requirements

Educated to at least HND or HNC level

Qualification in a relevant discipline, for example, in Guidance or
Counselling would be an advantage

Current driving licence/Access to personal transport

Given the nature of this job, the post holder will be required to make visits away
from their normal base. A driving licence is highly desirable, but consideration
would be given to the post holder making alternative arrangements as long as
these meet the operational requirements of the Service
