Summary

Are you an experienced professionally qualified youth and community worker with JNC (Level 6 or above)?

Are you passionate about practice development and engaging with the sector to support future youth and community workers?

Are you a fluent Welsh speaker who is confident to engage in professional discussion through the medium of Welsh?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Educator to join the youth and community work team at Wrexham University. As a Practice Educator you will be responsible for engaging with the sector on behalf of the University to support our students on their journey to qualifying.

You will need to be committed to the application of theory to practice, educational supervision, and supporting student learning in their practice. This will include liaising with the sector and supporting work-based learning processes such as progress meetings, and workshop delivery to facilitate learning for practice assessment.

We are looking for a vibrant professional with in-depth knowledge of professional standards and PSRB requirements, and who is committed to youth work education.
