Summary
Job Description:
A Conveyancing Solicitor with at least three years of post-qualification experience (PQE) will be responsible for managing and completing a full range of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction to post-completion. This role requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee residential and commercial conveyancing files from initial instruction to completion and registration.
Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed and updated throughout the transaction process. Respond promptly to client queries.
Review title documents and draft or review legal documents, including sale contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage deeds.
Conduct thorough due diligence, including searches, investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Liaise with estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and other solicitors to facilitate smooth transactions.
Identify and mitigate any potential risks in the conveyancing process, including title issues or boundary disputes.
Ensure that all files comply with relevant conveyancing laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years of PQE in conveyancing.
Strong knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with efficiency and accuracy.
Proficiency in conveyancing software and legal document management systems.
