Summary
Conveyancing Solicitor | London, WC1N | Full Time | Newly qualified commercial conveyancing solicitor will earn up to £55,000 per annum, while a fully experienced commercial property solicitor will earn between £70,000 and £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Our client is a well-established commercial law firm based in Chancery Lane, the heart of London's historic legal district.
The Firm provides a pragmatic, tailored, efficient and cost-effective legal service to a varied clientele, including entrepreneurs, banks, investors, businesses, corporations, trusts, charities, diplomats, and governments. Most of their clients are referred to the Firm by existing clients or by their partners.

Are you the right person for the job?
If you have the following, then the answer is yes!
At least 3-4 years PQE
The ability to work independently in substantial commercial matters, including urgent bridge lending, business lease renewals, negotiating leases, sales and purchases of pharmacies, as well as some light residential work
What will your role as a Conveyancing Solicitor look like?
• Acting as a point of contact for all communication directly related to the transaction, verbally and through email
• Updating customers and introducers regularly to ensure they are well-informed of the progress of their transaction
• Pro-actively progress transactions by identifying what/who needs to be chased and undertaking this activity
• Submitting searches and undertaking other administrative tasks
• Drafting letters to customers and other parties to progress the transaction
• Carrying out electronic identification checks for customers and any required follow-up actions
• Maintaining accurate records within a case management system
• Preparing financial statements for customers
• Implementing company procedures and policies to maintain excellent performance standards
