About the Position:

In this role, you will join a thriving and inclusive academy in Thamesmead as a SENCO, playing a vital role in the leadership team. As a full-time, permanent position, you will be responsible for overseeing SEND provision across both primary and secondary phases, ensuring tailored support and positive outcomes for all students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SEND provision across the academy, ensuring a high standard of support and inclusive practises for all students with additional needs.
• Play a crucial role in strategic planning and EHCP management, working closely with families and external agencies.
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues, promoting best practises for SEND provision in the school.

Requirements:

• Hold the NASENCO qualification.
• Proven track record of leading SEND provision in a school setting.
• Passionate about enhancing provision for students with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
