Job Advert
We are seeking a Development Surveyor to support high-quality new build and refurbishment schemes, ensuring delivery on time,
within budget, and to required standards through inspections, surveys, and compliance checks.
The role is primarily site-based across West and East Cheshire, with monthly attendance at our Warrington office and occasional
remote working as required.
Responsibilities:
* Support Project Managers across development schemes.
* Conduct surveys, inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Liaise with contractors and consultants on quality standards.
* Ensure homes are delivered to a high standard, including handover and aftercare.
* Promote safe working practices and sustainability in construction.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience including development and new build sites and schemes
* Significant knowledge of stock condition surveying gained through extensive knowledge and relevant experience
* Ability to complete various survey types of stock condition, fire risk assessments, HHSRS and asbestos validation surveys
* Excellent experience in the on-site management of investment, refurbishment, technically challenging schemes and development
schemes from inception to completion
* A sound knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to property maintenance
* Evidence of co-ordinating and demonstrating the importance of value for money in everyday operations
* Demonstrates a commitment to H&S to ensure safe operations and environment for staff and customers
Interview Process:
* Interviews consisting of competency based questions will be held at our Warrington office no sooner than 5 May 2025.
Additional Information:
Each successful applicant will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks prior to a start date being agreed:
