About the Role
As a Passive Fire Stopper, you will play a key role in ensuring fire safety across a variety of buildings and settings in line with FIRAS and BM Trada standards.
Key responsibilities: -Passive Fire Stopper, Greater London area
- Install ablative batt and other passive fire protection systems
- Work in loft spaces, riser cupboards, and communal areas
- Carry out installations to meet company, client, and accreditation standards
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately
- Maintain detailed records of all works completed
- Provide professional, friendly customer service
- Communicate effectively with management and administration teams
About You
We’re looking for detail-oriented professionals with a strong work ethic and proven experience in fire stopping.
Requirements: -Passive Fire Stopper, Greater London area
- UK driving licence (required)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in passive fire stopping
- At least 1 year’s experience working in the public sector (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (preferred, not essential)
- FIRAS accreditation or assessment (preferred, not essential)
- Ability to work to high standards and follow compliance procedures
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
- 1-hour lunch break
- Optional evening and weekend work at enhanced rates
