Role

As a Social Media Content Creator, you will play a key role in shaping clients' social media presence, crafting compelling and innovative content that captures attention and drives engagement. You will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies across various social media platforms, bringing your creative vision to life through a diverse range of formats.

Content Creation & Strategy:

- Content Strategy Development: Develop and implement social media content strategies aligned with client objectives and target audience demographics.
Ideation & Brainstorming: Generate fresh and engaging content ideas
- Content Production: Produce a variety of social-first content, including short-form video, reels, stories, static posts, carousels, live streams, and more.
- Platform Expertise: a strong understanding of different social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and their unique content requirements.
- Trendjacking: Identify and capitalise on trending topics and conversations to create relevant and timely content.
- Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences and effectively communicate brand messages.

Production Background & Skills:

- Production Experience: Leverage your experience in a production environment to manage the content creation process efficiently, from concept to execution.
- Video Production Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in video production techniques, including filming, editing, lighting, and basic sound.
- Photography Skills: Possess strong photography skills to capture high-quality images for social media content.
- Graphic Design Basics: While in-depth design work is not required, a basic understanding of creating visually appealing graphics and titles to sit within content is beneficial.
- Editing Software Proficiency: Be proficient in using video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut).
- Content Optimisation: Optimise content for each platform, considering factors such as format, length, captions, hashtags, and timing.

Social-First Creative & Innovation:

- Innovative Content: Consistently produce innovative and engaging content that stands out from the crowd and captures attention.
- Social Media Trends A strong understanding of social media trends and platforms, staying informed about emerging trends and best practices through consistent personal and professional use.
- Creative Experimentation Experiment with new and innovative content formats and techniques to push creative boundaries.
- Data-Driven Approach: Use data and analytics discussed in the team to direct content strategy for performance

Collaboration & Communication:

- Client Collaboration: Work with clients to understand their needs and develop content that aligns with their brand and target audience.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including marketers, designers, and strategists.
